Yes it will play on PS3.

The copy I dled wasn't cinivia protected, and that gets hardcoded right into the movies themselves so they all should be clean.

try the usual: remove old codecs and replace with the newest klite or similar versions, download newest vlc player, upgrade video and audio drivers and then see if it plays. attempt a little selfhelp and research before asking simple questions and you will be watching movies a lot sooner than waiting for a shmuck like me to help you. good luck

I can help you out with one of the questions, I never created a torrent, but in uTorrent there is a button that says Create Torrent, so you can check it out. Most likely it just reads the files that you want to share as a torrent and creates a very small file .torrent that you can upload or something like that

It seems like every MAXspeed release stops on my standalone player like 20 minutes before the end of the movie. thought it might be the filesystem on my flash drive, changed that, tried different drives (2 other flash based and one hard drive) and still the same sadness. last thing I have to try is to put it on a DVD-RW.

Maybe it's just that Phillips doesn't make the best standalone divx player. But it doesn't kill me to sit at the computer to watch the ending of the movie.

there is a slight back track as mentioned before. The movie rewinds and plays back as if the movie were originally in two parts and pieced together. Sound also does not work for the very end part of the credits but no big deal. other than that, the quality is perfect 10/10.

It's worth watching. Not my favorite, but it diffidently does not suck either.
